Here is our November Newsletter – keeping you up to date with what has been happening at Quinton House and Quinton Gardens Nursing Home.
Activities
This month, we enjoyed the vocal stylings of Phoebe Appleby and Martin Leonard. We also had a fun time with Yvette from Kiddleydivey. We also had a visit from St Swithins Church who came to do a bible reading and sing hymns. We also had our Bonfire Night; residents, family, friends and staff had a good time watching the fireworks. Thank you to all those who come over!
For December, we have Martin Leonard visiting us again on 7th December. We have St Swithins Church visiting us on 9th December and they will visit us again on 23rd December for a carol service. We have a visit from Quinton Primary School Choir on 14th December. We have Kiddleydivey visiting us again on 16th December. We also have a Santa Christmas Performance by David Sanders on 21st December. You are invited to join us during our activities.
On Saturday 10th December 2022, we will be hosting our Christmas Fayre from 2:00PM to 5:00PM. There will be activities like Tombola, Raffle, Brick-a-Brac, Hook-a-Duck, Lucky Dip, Guess the Cake Weight, Face Painting, Wine Bottle Game, Guess the Name of the Bear, Skittles. There will also tea and coffee served with mince pies, samosas, homemade baked goods, and cakes. We hope to see you all!
Birthdays
We would like to wish the happiest of birthdays to the following residents: Margaret and Hazel. We hope they all enjoy their birthdays.
We would also like to wish the happiest of birthdays to the following staff members: Cristina, Sharan, and Tracy. We hope you enjoy your birthdays, and we are thankful for everything that you do at Quinton House and Quinton Gardens.
Visiting
We are fully open to visitors – testing and appointments are currently not necessary. Everyone is still required to wear face masks and sanitise. Check our website for our updated visiting guidelines.
