Here is our August Newsletter – keeping you up to date with what has been happening at Quinton House Nursing Home and Quinton Gardens.
Activities
This month we had Mick from G Fitness come around and engage our residents in some exercise activities. We also had a dance and music session with Yvette from Kiddleydivey as well as a singalong with Barry Juckes. On sunny days, residents enjoyed spending time in the garden while reminiscing with tea and cake, solving crossword puzzles, and just basking in the summer sun.
For September, we have Mick from G Fitness coming back for another exercise session with our residents on 28th September. Residents will also be enjoying the vocal stylings of the amazing Martin Leonard on 13th September and the amazing Miss Ruby Red on 23rd September. Visitors are welcome to participate in activities.
Staff
Staff are no longer required to provide a negative lateral flow test before coming in for work. A lateral flow test should be done when one experiences symptoms of COVID-19.
Residents
We would like to welcome Clare who joined us at Quinton House this month. We hope she enjoys her stay with us.
It is with great sadness to announce that one of our residents passed away this month. Our condolences to their family. May they rest in peace.
Birthdays
We would like to wish the happiest of birthdays to the following residents: Phyliss, Sheila, Rodney, and Edgar. Phyliss and Sheila celebrated their 90th birthdays this year. We hope they all enjoyed their birthdays. We would also like to wish the happiest of birthdays to the following staff members: Catelin, Luciniea, and Gabriel. We hope you enjoyed your birthdays, and we are thankful for everything that you do at Quinton House.
Special Celebrations
One of our amazing carers got married this month. Many congratulations to Shannon! Wishing you a happy married life.
